LPSMC English Debating Team Advances to HKSSDC Grand Finals!

On May 13th, the LPSMC Junior English Debating Team secured a thrilling victory against Ning Po College in the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition (HKSSDC). The teams clashed over a highly engaging and timely motion: "This house would impose a maximum age for heads of government."

Both sides presented compelling arguments, but LPSMC ultimately carried the day with outstanding rhetoric and strategic rebuttals. Special congratulations go out to our second speaker, Angie, who was rightfully awarded the title of Best Speaker for her exceptional delivery and sharp analytical skills!

With this impressive win, LPSMC has officially earned a spot in the HKSSDC Grand Finals, which will take place this July. We are incredibly proud of the entire team's hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Please join us in congratulating our debaters and cheering them on as they prepare for the championship match!
