LPSMC Senior English Debating Team Begin the 2024-25 Campaign with a Win

On October 4, LPSMC faced off against Kai Yan College in the HKSSDC English Debating Competition, debating the motion: "This House Would Ban the Poor from Gambling." The LPSMC team presented compelling arguments highlighting the adverse effects of gambling on low-income individuals and the societal implications of such activities. Their effective rebuttals and persuasive eloquently delivered arguments ultimately led them to victory. Audrey Lam from class 3A was recognised for her outstanding performance, receiving the Best Speaker award. This was a great start to the new campaign for our Senior English Debating Team. We are immensely proud of them and appreciate their hard work and dedication.
