LPS Junior English Debating Team Secures Another Win in the HKSSDC

On 20/03/24, LPS Junior English Debating Team celebrated a resounding victory over Yan Oi Tong Tin Ka Ping Secondary School in the Hong Kong Secondary School's Debating Competition. The intense debate revolved around the motion "This house believes governments should intervene to prevent the gentrification of poor communities." Our team showcased exceptional skills and persuasive arguments, ultimately clinching the win. Special congratulations go to Henry from class 2B for receiving the esteemed Best Speaker award, demonstrating his remarkable rebuttal skills. Seriena from 2A deserves a special mention for her great leadership as Team Captain, guiding the team with poise and determination. Additionally, a big round of applause goes to Danae from 1A, who delivered an impressive performance in her debut debate. We are very proud of their wonderful performances.
